Rotoscopy
Here's the rotoscopy with the general outline, but personally I didn't like it at all so here is also the smoke with the original video shot.
Morph
These are the photos I created originally to try and match up with each other, but I was having some troubles and my first attempt at their morph looked... scary. So I had to make some last minute adjustments.
Commentary for Irena Werning
Personally, I truly enjoy being able to look at someone and then looking at them again through their baby photos and pointing out their features that still look exactly the same. I'm not a fan of science, but that was definitely the most interesting aspect I've ever had to learn about. The way Irena Werning portrayed both the younger version of a person alongside their current state was amazing and beyond creative. There's trends circulating the media titled "transformation Tuesdays" or even "throwback Thursdays" that have the same concept of a younger and older version of a person, but not in the literal way like Werning. The way she transformed the current photographs of her subjects to look exactly like the original photos are what makes her work amazing. I enjoyed looking through her work.
